Giving Back

At The Bainey Group, we are committed to giving back to the community and supporting philanthropic initiatives. We regularly donate services, resources and our creativity to a variety of causes.

Recent “Giving Back” projects

Creating inspirational community art

We designed and built the Uptown Benches in collaboration with The Ackerberg Group, as an inspiring and community enrichment piece for Calhoun Square.

As part of the global “Before I Die” movement, which aims to restore perspective and nurture community connectedness, we designed and installed a tribute wall for residents of North Loop. We completed the project as part of an expansion project we were doing for Walsh Design Group, a tenant of the Colonial Warehouse.

Supporting sustainability

In one recent project, we were privileged to donate time and material to build compost units, as part of a larger community sustainability program. Thanks to Cushman & Wakefield for inviting us to participate.

Raising donations and funds for food drives

As part of the Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners annual food shelf drive, we help garner donations and participate in the fundraising contest to build something creative from the donations. One year, we built a Minnesota Wild Zamboni that weighed 731 pounds and raised $1,150. For that creation, we won third place Business and first place Crowd Favorite. In another year, we won first places in Business and Most Creative for our cityscape. [Design note: both photos are on site, pick one you like best.]

Organizations we actively support:

  • JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes)
  • Suicide Prevention
  • Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
  • Cystic Fibrosis
